Last November (the 10th, I think) I bought in after having watched for a couple of months - decided to throw something at FCEL I could afford to just p-- away, but which could turn into something nice if it stuck. The news was certainly good, suddenly. I spent $600 for a thousand shares, right before the first spike.
I haven't traded once. Come mid-November, this year, it looks to me like I'll probably have secured for myself a $5,000 to $10,000 "baseline" investment in a stabilized company with a unique and promising energy technology in what appears to be on the verge of becoming a booming sector. I'll consider selling some shares, then, since it will then qualify as a long-term gain, but I doubt I will. Most likely I'll just keep holding on to it... head into my retirement in a year or two with this being a very nice addition to my portfolio. A little "swing trading" could come later... a small percentage just for fun once the company is profitable.
