My buddy who is a mechanic gets a kick out of all the toys. GPS devices and Onstars built in. He rolls up the bucks trying to diagnose why you can't find your way to the grocery store for milk. lol.

Hi PW, When you replace that battery get a Deep Cycle Gel Cell Battery, they hold a charge better than regular batteries, and because they are a gel pack, they take the normal abuse of being tossed around in a car much better than your average batteries, which is usually what causes a battery to start breaking down in the first place. BTW, You have the right idea; a regular battery is usually good for about five years.
