Nah. Even if there were a notification required for something, it would come from your Broker. Unless you have actual paper certificates, you really don't own shares. (Well...you do, but...) Your Broker holds the shares and, pinkie swear, the broker promises that you will get what's coming to you.
The company doesn't have a clue who you are, or that you even exist.
