There was a huge difference in the trial
In that the SOC evolved mid-study so the patients were getting compared to soc improvements. MK does not have this situation. There hasn’t been a new soc approach for 60 years. With vicl, it happened during their trial and it screwed them. I think this guy is throwing doubt in other chat boards because I squashed this same theory w a different trial that had been getting sued for similar reason. Their reason wasn’t a soc database improvement, but their trial literally lasted an extra 3 years because their patients had to have the new treatments
