I think we have time. White paper only released yesterday. We may have months to prepare. But I am going to educated on this because they are matching us the same amount of spark for xrp we hold at no cost. So whatever spark is worth is instant savings on what we paid for our xrp. I assume it will start off at fraction of a penny because supply will be 100 billion and the use case will be new.

If we have a date that this is happening we can make sure our xrp is in the wallet it needs to be in so that we can claim our spark tokens. For you it may mean holding off on a loan rolling over so that the xrp is available to claim your tokens. Maybe uphold and credearn will have something in place and you don’t have to do anything.

If your exchange or my exchange does not participate Flare said they will make public a list of exchanges that will participate. So that would mean moving our xrp on to another exchange to get our spark tokens and then either keeping it there, or in our case, most likely moving it back to our preferred exchange.

I don’t like how it is adding a lot of layers to the process and basically telling us some of us may not get it if we don’t do what they say, but it is what it is. It’s a free token so you don’t lose anything by not participating but you do stand to gain if you do. Something like this could spark a fomo to accumulate more xrp tokens since we will be matched evenly in spark tokens.

Not to beat the drum too much but Nexo doesn’t lock up the tokens. I can pull them if I need them. A huge advantage over CredEarn.

Credearn worked with me and unwound all my contracts. It was later determined that I was still able to participate and didn’t have to, but by then I made up my mind after all the confusion and while they didn’t give me my interest on loans that hadn’t matured they also did not charge me any fees
