Because the company has remained silent through all of the "speculation" that Moderna's vaccine is using their technology. There is soooo much info and data out there proving it, but no action has been taken by ABUS or Genevant to bring legal action that has been made public. They have only defended their patent against MRNA's challenge, and were successful. A lot of investors are waiting on the sidelines waiting for the final key and irrefutable evidence that indeed MRNA vaccine is based using ABUS technology. Once this comes via PR, legal filing, royalty/ licensing deal announcement, etc. then the price will rocket. Until then, people who do not dig into the connection and the proof that has been uncovered will wait and chase IMO.
