Or Amazon can just outbid Simon Malls can acquire everything for themselves. I seriously doubt Bezos would want to waste time negotiating with Simon Malls. Not his style.

Doesn't say Amazon planning on buying JCPenny, just to get some of their closed stores. Simon may end up buying JC because then these can lease the building to Amazon
