Example remdisivir had fast track status so FDA approved it quickly. (This drug is not helping the world)

The only other drug that got fast track status recently is RLFTF’s “Aviptadil” which actually blocking the virus and cytokine storm in just 3 days observed rapid recovery. No other exiting drugs had this magic or mechanism of action. So accelerated/emergency approval soon...
