As FX prices rise and fall there are always advantages and disadvantages. Because the US is one of the most highly industrialized countries as our currency becomes cheaper in comparison to the pound and euro our exports become cheaper as well and thus our economy will benefit while we become less dependent on foreign exports which will decreas our current accounts defecit which will in turn support our dollar.
