#7332 RE: Bruinfan4ever #7327

I strongly believe we can do a lot better and here is why:

The WSJ only re posted a press release... basically it gets sent to the press release section of the website which absolutely noone reads. This is a common theme I've been seeing with all the links posted to this site.

The closest thing we've had to real reporting is the Seeking Alpha article which was actually written by a real financial analyst, but I immediately went to Seeking Alpha at 3:45PM yesterday when I first saw it and even that was only on the front page for about 15 minutes before getting bumped by other articles.

Almost every other article that has been linked on here are small independent news outlets that are reposting the same old press releases constantly to try to saturate the Google News feed. Some of them are paid marketing masquerading as news which serves its purpose but it isn't real journalism. These pump up articles try to generate buzz by listing Revive next to big names such as Pfizer, Moderna, etc. but these news websites are intentionally just trying to create buzz. It's not real journalism.

We need front page news. Re-posting of press releases by smaller outlets has almost zero visibilty to anyone, and very little impact after the initial press release is sent out. Those press release section of websites such as Wall Street Journal are basically just a ticker of press releases being released one after another until the 10th one gets bumped off the bottom of the page.

Michael Frank should have been doing interviews with Canadian news outlets CBC, CTV, Global News, etc. until there was enough Canadian buzz to generate interest in the US as well. At least start local and then go big. Even as a Toronto company he could have at least done some local interviews which might have gained enough interest to get picked up by national Canadian news outlets.

This company needs to massively step up it's PR - we need quality PR not more reposting of press releases.
