This fiction also ignores the other facts:

1. The short interest is less than 1% of shares. No matter how many people put GTCs in, there will be hundreds of millions of shares available for borrowing.

2. The market makers (naked shorters) don't need to borrow any shares to short.

Please...if you do this GTC nonsense. Please make sure it is at a price you are ok getting stopped out at.
