DSMB is taking a look this week at the S/C trial according to statements made last week. That's not the same as CYDY looking at the interim data after 195 patients have been enrolled and treated for 28 days. There's some hope- I have no idea if realistic or not- that what they see would be overwhelmingly convincing enough for them to halt the trial. If we weren't in a pandemic, I'm guessing that would be a very rare event.
No, the 50% interim read-out is totally separate and different in nature from the DSMB Safety review, which is reportedly due any day this or next week!
