You do realize the reason the GSEs have been so profitable and in a position to get out of conservatorship has been MCs aggressive offloading of bad loans right; releasing these early you would not have 10+ billion each in capital and might be in position politically and literally to be kept and liquidated... MC knows what he’s doing.
