Motorola will be shipping north of 500,000 3GSM WCDMA units into channels Q4 says Mike Z. Nice royalty flow commencement for Qualcomm since NEC also shipping e616, the Motorola based Siemens U15 will be shipping, and FOMA pace is picking up! Whoopee!!!

LGE also plans to start commercially shipping the LG-8100U to '3'if not Q4 then at least Q1. I'm not positive, but I think that this phone utilizes EMP's chipset rather than Qualcomm's MSM6200. If anyone has visibility on this I'd appreciate inputs as I'm trying to track who is using what chipset in early 3GSM WCDMA UE.
