Thank you for that Koog. Pretty heavy summary of the situation INTC faces.

Krzanich is gone. Murthy is gone.

So far, so good. Reflecting on the article from Michael Bruck I agree that the market has horizontally aligned further beyond the historic alignment he cited.

Design and manufacture have separated in the market with many firms handling design to fit their particular needs using ARM architecture and less than a handful handling manufacture with TSMC being the 800 pound gorilla in that room.

This is an industry strategic inflection point and it's not going to change. Intel must change.

I don't trust the current board of directors to be able to do this. They have enabled entirely too much damage to think they are up to the task. Perhaps an activist shareholder with more shares than god can shake this up and get the right technology visionaries to do the job.

I don't think Swan is the right CEO either. He is a finance guy from ebay and GE. This position demands a technology visionary for sure.

Intel needs to become the process technology gorilla. It's in their DNA. Spin off the product groups. Hire back many of the REAL technology development folks that were lost to Apple and TSMC.

INTC would rise more than 15% simply on the news. Because it is the right thing to do.

Great analysis. Where is a new Grove?
With the current board Intel is doomed.
