#99130 RE: Venture_Cap #99091

Having worked on committees akin to the the WH coronavirus committee, I am sure that Fauci knows of Leronlimab. He is a technical expert and is expected to know! So if the VP looks around the table and says, “one of my Doctor friends mentioned that there is a new drug named Leronlimab that is showing great effect against COVID,”. Fauci will be expected to know and respond. My fear would be that Fauci would say something like, “I heard it may have some merit, but they don’t have enough vials available to make a big difference. They need to team up with big pharma to be a player.” This administration likes big solutions. So I worry that your theory may be right. Big Pharma wants some of the profits, so if they can’t undercut on performance they will try other tactics. Then the question becomes will the administration’s funding of other drugs undercut recognition of Leronlimab. I still think that Leronlimab will be approved by FDA, but for what portion of the pie. All of this being speculation.
