Mining gold at these prices is great and all, but without contracts/licenses it doesn't help with the cash situation. I say move where the money is. I know Tesla is looking to be as environmentally friendly as possible, so there may need to be some changes in mining styles.

These guys are not mining gold, have never mined anything (they're an exploration company, sort of) and in fact have lost all their properties (revoked in Guinea and expired in Ghana), and they're broke and in debt.

Neither Guinea nor Ghana have any significant nickel deposits. Guinea has lots of bauxite (the world's largest reserves) and iron ore (two of the largest iron deposits in the world) and a bit of gold and diamonds, while Ghana is the largest gold producer in Africa (now ahead of S. Africa) plus a bit of manganese and bauxite. Wrong geology in these countries for nickel...
