Remember that they have to show disconnect between ripple and XRP for it to be deemed Not a Security... So no suprise that any good news from ripple does not affect XRP price, like it or not this is an important factor for this project at current time. Aug 27 is going to be significant if court case is dismissed because judge ruling out that it is a security. After that who knows maybe positive news from ripple will affect price due to speculative investors...
