Gary, yes, there is a scenario whereby PSTI could be a part of the covid 19 solution. It would require that 1) PSTI completes the necessary trial by the end of the year,2) that their drug is proved effective, and 3) the virus is still a major issue in 2021. All elements are entirely possible, but not guaranteed. Given PSTI's track history of delays, I am especially skeptical of the first element. I would love for PSTI to prove me wrong.

The main point of my post last night is we are already missing a great opportunity. When they announced a few months ago that the FDA had approved their trial and European approval was considered imminent, I figured we'd be about done with the trial by now. Can you imagine how excited we would all be right now? Instead, we can't even get started and the negotiations in Germany have been ongoing for several months.

This isn't going away, even with a vaccine, the best of vaccines are only partially effective.

There are approximately twenty candidates getting close to human testing. Some of them may be VERY effective. There are very few scientists in the world who are not working on a solution for this virus. There will be a vaccine, AND there will be therapeutics to reduce the consequences of Covid, (but you know THAT!!!!) BTW, there's some indication that some people who've had other, related virus infection may already have some degree of immunity. The science is NOT settled here (unlike "climate science", LOL).

What is Fauci's plan for reordering the international system so it's not disadvantaging us? How about Fauci's plans for the economy? How about defense, dealing with Chinese aggression, restoring peace in our ravaged cities? Trump is the president, Fauci is just one of his advisers, one among many.

There are many scientists who disagree with Fauci (in fact Fauci disagrees with Fauci!!, see Fauci's "evolving" opinions). Also, consider the consequences of the lock-down. The American Academy of Pediatrics is in favor of reopening schools (as is Trump, but not the left). Wonder why!

Trump's job is to keep this country from collapsing. He is not invested in locking us down, damaging the future of our children, all to regain power (the coup attempt based on massive fraud by the deep state and supported by the whole democrat/left/liberal establishment did not work, so let's see if they can exploit Covid to do the same).
