Why did people buy the 'old' GM common stock after the BK in 2009? It was worthless and represented shares in the 'old' GM that had no assets, only debt that survived post-BK. Yett it traded for more than 2 years.
Same is going on with the Hertz buffoons trading worthless common in the Hertz BK.
Never underestimate the foolishness of pennystock trading. Most of it is based on ignorance and hope in the Greater Fool Theory.
