OT: Not sure what ya mean. PCR doesn't make biomarkers...PCR just simply amplifies the quantity of DNA. You have to already have what you want already in your possession in the form of nucelic acid. That goes into a PCR reaction and after so many "cycles" you are left with millions of copies...that's it.

As far as being seen...I see my cells, I see my bacteria, as well as seeing the animals I have worked with...merely different size scales. I even SEE the DNA I work with.....literally. I just prefer to 'tinker" on a molecular scale, can get into greater depth and have a far greater effect on the biological system you are trying to manipulate.

Anyway, no offense taken, really, I was just curious and always enjoy someone that can discuss the science.
