In reply to your specific question, when used in the preservation/conservation of green fodder/silage it has been shown to increase milk production by 15%-20%. Weaners and Yearlings have also shown better weight gain as the product keeps the green fodder/silage from breathing thus preserving the vitamins within from evaporating in higher temperatures during storage.
The cost benefit is also much better. Where you would pay around $1.25 per ton with traditional conservatives based on mixed organic acids, you will pay around $0.15 per ton with this product.
The final benefit is an ecologically safe preservative contrary to traditional chemicals, which are in many cases poisonous, explosive and have chemical residual in the fodder that makes it impossible to use for months once treated.
