Brilacidin capsule for CV is not viable. Brilacidin's systemic uptake is negligible, which makes a B. capsule intriguing for UC/P and IBS, but useless for treating anything via blood circulation.

The gastric fluid studies done by innovation refute damage done to B in the stomach from the stomach contents. Results were published in Jan 2019 and they are on the website. The B pill was designed to be released in the proximal colon. B has not been studied otherwise in the stomach or small intestine. Systemic absorption has only been evaluated from the distal colon. B, to the best of my knowledge, has not yet been ruled out as a pill delivered to the stomach and SMALL intestine. Please correct me if it is otherwise.
