Why ignored? The FDA never ignored leron but hugged it so tightly that our puppy might yet not survive their motherly embraces. The other day someone described Dr. Pourhassan's perpetual outpourings of gratitude and protestations of tender love to this state agency of ours as the Stockholm Syndrome. Neither BP could afford ignoring leron which means mega big bucks for "deplorables" like us and mega losses for them.

Here your remarkable realism leaves you. "Success" is no longer in question. Leron works but global demand is entirely different business. Real success is approval to commercialize which means distress for the status quo because once the genie is out of the bottle it'll be very hard to drive it back in.
