again u smart mustang,even i can see the writing on the wall,1 question for u.does the medtronic deal mean its going to be medtronic for sur that gets our sp robot tech or can there still be a bidding war for it with medtronic,jnj,and even isrg.that 1 thing im confused about,i hope it is medtronic but only if they have the highest bid afterall we have 1 chance at this and after what us longs have been through i say may the highest bid win,thanx

Thanks for this info. I may be missing something around the idea of licensing which maybe someone could clarify for me. Licensing is a temporary thing but the technology is being used by MDT to make a product to be sold. So what happens when that licensing agreement ends and a company continues to build and sell products using that IP?
