its possible they were waiting to package the bad news with something good. Or, maybe they just couldn't delay any longer. I imagine they've been getting a lot of heat. For me, I'll wait and see.
That's what I think, warming up for the end of this criminal trial/settlement when they actually know who will own the shares so that earnings/share can actually be calculated and reported- us shareholders will be the owners IMO.
