My ground rules for playing bio binary events were developed from watching many of them over the years. Summarizing -


1) Strict position limits - only bet what you can afford to lose.

2) Play the 'pre-event run up' period and get out/lighten up prior to the actual event

3) Only stay long thru a binary event with a relatively small position or with your core position if you like the stock longer term (subject to the strict position limit)


Once you have been burned, the wisdom of these rules will make more sense.
