What would happen if all shorts Legal or Naked or hedged positions in the Market (Worldwide) were forced to cover ?

How bad would it be if a Market Fail To Deliver touched only a few 1000 company's ?

Now a Fixer...tries to put the Fire Out and keep it contained...
