I have seen cases at the VA (Veterans Administration) where they held up a double amputee’s disability benefits for months because his pain medications were changed a few time.
Never a question of his disability or that he was permanently disabled and entitled to benefits.
Learned it’s not intentionally done - just the multiple internal layers. Everyone on the inside has 1 box to check - and then pass it on.
Makes DMV & post office look like a well run organization.

Be grateful this request is simply & easy fix.
