Yes, it was an error to tell friends and family* about IPIX and encourage them to buy. It always backfires. Beyond that, load up!

*I vowed 5+ years ago to never tell anyone about IPIX. I never have. It’s a jinx, for sure.

...if you were at .60... IMO good place to cut cost basis...cut my .39 purchase to .30

...there is nothing to indicate science not going in right direction ... IMO...everything and more that it will follow the positive results to date.

patience with the "flipping" crowd here who manipulate...as more releases come out more frequently...less opportunity to manipulate...IMO we will see your original buy price and beyond sooner that you think...

While I understand the emotion, one needs to have a broad understanding of process.
There was too much hype of how fast the process would occur. The expectations of many on this board were not in keeping with realistic timing for advancement.
Less respect for the science makes no sense to me. It is moving forward in realistic steps and the pipeline has not shrunk at all. If anything the pipeline is expanding, particularly if trials proves successful.
At this point odds seem to favor a successful trial. What might the share price be then?

One major common denominator in early stage bios is the violent swing from rising euphoria to depression. It cycles many times over the years it take to get to market.

The constant speculation by board posters of dates for PR's, trials, test results, filings that somehow become absolutes is destructive both to sentiment and share price.

Sorry for the losses. It is a tough place to be. It is also the tuition price for investing in stocks.

All IMO only.
Best Wishes to you and all for GREEN.

@duchamp; Up until today, I only read this board and followed certain posters to keep up with the mood of investors... The posters I follow know who they are just by the way they conduct themselves - no need to mention them all.

But upon reading your post, DUCHAMP, it compelled me to open up an account in order to reply to you.

I don't know if one day you just found IPIX and decided to invest in just because you believed in it or whatever. Or, perhaps it was that just like you thought enough of some family members/friends, someone recommended it to you because they thought enough of you.

I didn't find IPIX. In fact, I would have never thought of investing in penny stocks and having to put up with the ups and downs of the OTC world. All my investments were in mutual funds and I was doing just fine back then.
But it just so happens that back then IPIX was at $4.42/share (hey, that's more than a penny!). However, it was not the low price that got me excited. In fact, it was not even Brilacidin. My sister and her husband thought enough of me to share their enthusiasm about IPIX. The driver was that IPIX had this "KEVETRIN" drug in their pipeline to treat cancer, which is such a concern within our family.
So, without hesitation I bought 2,262 shares.
Long story short, I hope one day your friends and family members will be as grateful to you as I am to my sister and her husband. However, I don't know if your peops have the will or the means to take lemons and make lemonade.
I am first of all thankful to my sister and hubby to trust sharing their excitement with me. GREAT!
Even though I saw $10K almost disappear, at the same time that my sister and her husband were also losing lot$, our collective approach was to go on... We continued investing in the science. And just before everyone got crazy about COVID-19, we really doubled down when the SP was at $0.08.

I was just checking my portfolio today. All my mutual funds, except for one, are in the red - some of them are big time negative. However, my little IPIX is in the green, despite the initial "apparent" lost cause and even after today's drop.
So, I hope in some way your family will one day thank you, as I've also many times THANKED my sister and her husband. Someday Kevetrin will be fully developed, but in the meantime we may also make $ome with Brilacidin and help the world with cure for many/all these terrible viruses.

The best to you.
