The strike price has nothing to do with the share price. The strike price is what you pay to exercise your warrants (11.50 per warrant).

Warrants can be exercised 30 days post merger as long as the SEC has authorized issuing the shares to cover them. If the share price is below 8.10 then it is cheaper to buy shares on the market than to exercise the warrants for shares.
