Definitionally it is...from the CDC

A novel coronavirus is a new coronavirus that has not been previously identified. The virus causing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), is not the same as the coronaviruses that commonly circulate among humans and cause mild illness, like the common cold.

...I think the point of your citation is that some epidemiologist in bumfuck Slovakia is learning that it has characteristics of other virus’s ..he had to learn this because it’s a novel virus and no one knew dick about it....

That was a great article, but, it won't be realized unless it's read in it's entirety. The only thing in the article I disagree on is that it dies down in summer. However, the summer of protests may be skewing that.

What I found interesting is how it might end up impacting IPIX. Long story short, if Brilacidin continues testing well for covid19, the odds are higher we are also going to have a drug to combat the common cold. How good is that. Most people I know would be thrilled.

It doesn't make the symptoms of covid any easier for those that get a bad case, but, it sure opens the door for therapeutics in a range of areas.

Time will tell which scientist is correct on this thing.

It’s actually not a novel virus.

So: Sars-Cov-2 isn’t all that new, but merely a seasonal cold virus that mutated and disappears in summer, as all cold viruses do — which is what we’re observing globally right now.

That writer is such a crock. He is saying Covid is a seasonal cold. You don't have blood clots, and strokes, and amputations, and ventilators, and high fever with a cold.

What a joke that writer is. Toss it in the trash can.

Interesting find, SS, thanks. It presents, among other conclusions, maybe the best explanation, so far, for covid induced Kawasaki syndrome in children. Still many, many questions remaining.
