#497 RE: annie m #496

hi annie, thank you for your reply and update. i haven't tried the product yet...but probably soon after the new year. so the item is delivered to you cold? my son takes methyl b-12 injections...and his syringes arrive cold. the pharmacy ships it in a regular square box insulated by 4 pieces of hard foam that fit snug into the box, forming a perfect ice chest. within it, they place a disposable ice pack. a box of ready-filled syringes w/ the methyl b-12 is carefully sealed in a large anti-sunlight ziplock bag, which sits next to the ice-pack.

if the packages need refigeration, then the stores need to have them kept behind the pharmacy where the items can be refrigerated (ie, like insulin); however, they can still advertise the product on the shelf w/ hard-copy visuals and instructions on where to go to pick up the item...but to be aware that it's a non-presecription item that simply needs refrigeration.
