With 66% of non-covid clinical trials being halted because of the virus and the FDA marshalling its forces to focus on COVID-19, I think the trial we will see first will be Brilacidin IV for COVID.

One of the questions in my mind is which trial do we see first? Brilacidin IV for covid or Brilacidin oral for UC?

IMO, it would be very risky for Leo to commence a B-UC trial only to have it possibly halted by the virus. What a waste of time and capital that would be.

And even if the B-UC trial is not halted, most of the FDA personnel focused on COVID-19 will further slow an already slow clinical trial process.

I believe Leo is aware of these risks and is unlikely to take them.
