not only was evicted, but it would have been even faster kicked out with a full private banking/lending system (without FnF). In fact, you and many americans wouldn't even get in a modest house due to higher interest rates, way higher down payments, lower risk and lack of liquidity. Another fact, without FnF, the entire banking system would not have a dumpster to their toxic assets as they did with FnF forcibly imposed by the government, so the entire banking system would be still crying for a bigger bailout.
