The initial concern was after the announcement Bertolino was departing.

Dr. Bertolino and the Company have discussed the possibility for Dr. Bertolino continuing to serve as a consultant to the Company. After the announcement on the same day you expressed concern about Jane Harness' status with IPIX as well as the chain of command,kfcyahoo post 278747, "Who is "we"? How many employees are left in that ~1/4 acre office building? Is Jane Harness with ipix? What is the company's chain of command?"

Zandant replied with concern in post, 278753,"Unfortunately, the person who should have resigned- Ehrlich the Awful - is basically the only one left. A two person company. Sad."

Then Loanranger post 278760 tried to be reassuring and quoted the 8K and the departure policy ,"I'm guessing that she is {staying sic} based on the 8-K instructions:
"If the registrant’s principal executive officer, president, principal financial officer, principal accounting officer, principal operating
officer, or any person performing similar functions, or any named executive officer, retires, resigns or is terminated from that position, or if a director retires, resigns, is removed, or refuses to stand for re-election (except in circumstances described in paragraph (a) of this Item 5.02), disclose the fact that the event has occurred and the date of the event."

She's identified in IPIX filings as a named executive officer so her departure would require an 8-k."

BUT I believe her introduction to the Company was through Dr B, so we'll see if she sticks around."

Then you in post 278772 and I," farrell90" in post 278772 both agreed with Loanranger's impression that she came with Dr Bertilino.


A thread on the board on 1/15 by Zandant in post 2799949 stated,
" I'm assuming that he has already screened several candidates and merely needs to set up interviews. Wonder how that is going."

Then Lemoncat in post 279951 stated, "Who here is qualified to evaluate what probably will be an MD/MBA? Probably Jane is the most qualified."

In reply Zandant in post 279953 expressed concern," I can see Eagle Eye Ehrlich going through the list of doctors who have lost their licenses to try to snag a real winner. Or perhaps he can find an actor who played a doctor on the screen. It's hard to imagine any credible person signing on with IPIX in such a position. Sounds like more of Pinocchleo's nose-growing fodder."

Then Empricis1 post{279956} reassured Zandant, "zandant, if Leo hires a CMO of merit, it will be a really good thing."

I have reviewed the board and I have been unable to find another discussion about these issues since I tried to answer the questions posted today. Fortunately, Jane Harness has stayed and as the only other executive office,vice president, it is assumed she would be in control until another CEO was appointed by the board.
