Aphria paid Aleafia a lot of money; $15M. Aleafia must have really been able to prove how harmful not having that supply on hand to resell, really was.
That bodes well for Aleafia right now as the first new cannabis crop is growing in and on all of their new cultivation acreage.
If they had a ready market for what Aphria caused them to forego, then we may assume they may still have a ready market for their own crop, which will come in at a much lower cost per gram.
We should see a significant revenue and profit uptick in the 3rd and 4th Q's.
