Make sure you get one with a solid state drive and atleast 8 to 16gb of RAM, with atleast a 7th gen i5.
Go to slickdeals.net to find a deal on a laptop or desktop. I have both. Brands don’t matter any more as much as what’s in them.

Something with ethernet connection port so that you're not trading over wifi.

Also what deadjim said, solid state drive a must have... most macs come with them I think. PC I like better because pretty much all software runs on it. If there is some small companies software you need to run it might only run on PC.
