You bought shares at $5.00 and say that it's too bad that you didn't wait.
I failed to sell shares at $5.00 and say that it's too bad that I waited. I had my finger on the sell button, but with the big move up the previous day, and with the fact that we were gapped up in the pre-market the next day, I let myself get psyched out, and just held on to all the shares.
We are priced where the market maker wanted us to be. That's why I say it's a pretend price. But the manipulation affects all of us in the immediate time. And referring to a pretend price is not meant to marginalize the impact it has on us.
I do believe that gapping up in the pre-market was, in fact, a deception. The manipulation is understandable given that we have to have a market, and there are just too few of us to do that. I just don't think that it is necessary to actually deceive us, though.
