Ask yourself this

Why did AG never get or push for a Board seat? I have to assume he didn't try as most certainly Anshu would have given him one (unless he's so insecure that he would have viewed it as a threat).

The minute management starts sharing inside information with AG, his ability to trade freely ceases.

I'm not one to defend AB that often, but there's a lot more to the story than we're ever going to be told.
