Others have already developed silkworms resistant to one of the most serious silkworm diseases: BmNPV. If KBLB is reporting they have re-invented the wheel, the development is meaningless. Assuming this disease-resistance has already been described in the literature, KBLB can't get a patent. No patent, no licensing.
Sure wish they would provide a few relevant details that help investors determine the significance of this announcement.
Once again, KBLB fails to provide critical details, leaving investors to decide how much they trust the company.
