I am not up for a debate on the cannons. It is my opinion based on real conversations.

Through my wreck diving experience I know quite a lot about cannons lying in and about shipwrecks. Thirty two cannons scattered about lying in more or less 40 feet of poor visibility waters and sunken down into the mud and sand were not salvaged. Yes, easy access cannons in shallow water were salvaged from wreck sites during WWII for scrap value but many sites in shallower and clear water were left remaining. That applies to quite a number of the 1715 fleet wrecks as well as 1733 fleet wrecks in the Florida Keys. I don't blame you for not being up to debate as I seriously doubt the 1715 shipwreck cannons were salvaged. That's an easy excuse given for the fact that there are no cannons in the SFRX Melbourne areas or they would have easily been detected during the magnetometer surveys. The probability of the shipwreck even being there are nil. Flotsam yes, shipwreck no.
