Just to give an example. My county has a rare elements mine that hasn’t got off the ground yet. 45 year mine life span. Enough gold to pay for mining the rare elements. One of the biggest deposits in the world. 15 miles from me. Was discovered in the 1950,s. Are now talking of mining it.
