I agree. I just recently added the parent co., because I'm a bit uncertain about exactly what CRON is doing here AND I learned about the Altria dividend.
Why not participate in CRON that way? 10% divi is nothing to sneeze at & they have been paying out for over 50 years!
What's more, ALTRIA might just take this over here soon anyway. And, at least with MO I'm getting something for my money. Not that CRON can't go up, but it HAS gone down too. And Altria isn't as unstable.
Luckily MO is trading off it's near-term lows so I took a bite & am thinking of ADDING more next week. It traded down with the DOW today, which meant it was easy to pick-up that bottom $38 which coincided with the DOW breaking 25k...
Anyone someone suggested MO (Altria) to me when I asked them about CRON & I think they're right. GL
