Why now? 2 schools of thought. One, they are taking advantage of the recent increased pps in which to raise operational capital BECAUSE they know the phase III results are negative and $CLSN will need $$ in the bank to continue to exist post announcement OR they know they are positive and just want some $$ now because they know their Market Cap is gonna be majorly increased soon. It’s ONLY FOR NEW AND EXISTING INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS so these aren’t Joe Retail trader with a Robinhood account. And maybe the company doesn’t care if this affects the pps short term for shareholders because THEY KNOW what’s coming soon. I would much rather the company announce now and not on a run after the big announcement to potentially slow the momentum it would have. Also the shorts are giddy after today and I’m sure went into heavily shorting mode today after the 8-K PR came out. It would be nice (and hilarious) to trap a bunch of them and cause a short squeeze on top of a successful, positive phase 3 trial. Baaaammm!!

The float is still teeny on this stock even with the added 2.666,667 million shares in this offering.

All IMHO but there are some very heavy blocks of shares trading hands lately and is setting up for a very interesting future here either way.

And I bought more as well...pretty much a stake in the ground for a solid bottom to be $3.75 going forward because there will be a minimum 2.666M shares at that support level that’s not selling.

I do feel bad for the traders that hit their Stop Loss limits and possibly exited on a negative note. Not fun to see that when checking accounts at end of day etc..

Bottom Line for me I’m betting on a positive reason for the timing of the offering versus a negative.
