clambottler..To be fair to American Physicians’s.. We were warned by the Chinese.. Not to use Steroids..as it worsened outcomes.. Not knowing any better at the start of the Pandemic.. we heeded their warning.. and deviated from what was our SOC in intubated patients..
However to designate Steroids as SOC.. that to by a Physician.. is ludicrous.. Difficult to see what depths our profession has sunk to.. As if Fauci wasn’t enough to give us a Black Eye..!!!
Proning an intubated patient will give the same result.. However Utilizing proning and steroids will also give the same results.. 1/8.. So what is the SOC..?? Proning or Steroids..??
Have you seen the numbers regarding the e-IND tx CYDY did in a few hospitals a couple months back? All I could ever find out was the tx saved some lives, limited numbers offered like "2 of 6" in one hospital, "3 of 5" in another, and mention that some were in critical or severe condition but no composite of how many received it overall, how many were saved, how many died, measured by severity, etc.
