It is amazing to me that we can both be here writing about a stock that came down from $282,031,250 per share in January, 2007, through many reverse splits and might soon close above $2 on a good day. If you don't believe it, here is a chart of the price action.

Fortunately, I didn't invest $282 MM in CEI in 2007 and hold it that long. I am merely down about 67%, and that's better than it has been recently.

The future may not be a repeat of the past, but this particular company's history is astounding. I have never seen one fall so far without going out of business. That said, their merger looks very good and energy prices are due for a comeback (and CEI is still alive and kicking). All just my opinion.
