True but these closures in my opinion are blips and just delay buying. Plants still have to be in the ground growing and as an industry I have to imagine social distancing probably isn’t too difficult until product crosses into retail.

My Other concern is consolidation and how that effects grwg. Main reason I like grwg is they can weather the economic fallout of covid compared to smaller competitors given their access to public markets. This makes buyouts very attractive to otherwise uninterested smaller niche competitors. This is time to expand and gobble up the market on weakness.

The worry though is the consolidation in the growers. A lot of them are not operating at a profit and can’t just walk up to any bank for financing. Already see this with ianthus and many of the larger poorly run growers. If states act isn’t passed soon and these businesses aren’t given easier access to capital there may be an insolvency event that could take a lot of growers offline. That would stunt the picks and shovels a bit as expansion slows.
