Itraconazole is used to treat type 1 coronavirus in cats which 90% of the cases and very effective at inhibiting the virus. Type 2 that affects about 10% from Japan itraconazole has no effect.

Since type 1 appears to be more infectious the previous paleo article states that while cat coronavirus cannot transfer to a human the genetic structure of the new human covid 19 appears to be similar to the cat feline type 1 coronavirus which gives a real implication to investigators for analysis using itraconazole as chemical medical molecule as an inhibitor of the covid 19.

In the paleo article the guy was not a pharmacist but the problem currently is the maximum dosage shows 400 mg for human or the drug can be harmful but using the cat treatment for its weight an average human might need 540 mg of itraconazole to be effective.

This is seriously why PULMs delivery technology will be used to reduce the dosage to safe level under 50 mg and therefore the direct treatment into the lungs is the only the treatment option as orally to potentially be effective its putting the doses potentially beyond the human limit.
