Hard to say, I think flippers have had a big hand in keeping it up, which MM's will be all to happy to play with especially with dilution happening. "dumb" money then follows along.
MM's love volume, the more volume the better and with dilution added in Mm's have a safety net to cover with, so they can sell shares on the ask, force the action down when volume dips with the assistance of dilution and cover large blocks of shares with the dumping.
It is a win win for all short time players, the question is when the dilution safety net goes away, flippers drift off will buying slow and will MM;s then push it down to create more volume. then add in another round of dilution with fewer buyers and it can drop further.
